I have been trying to find a reasonable custom dash panel for my 87 FLH (I'm not crazy about the vinyl square) I got prices from $190 all the way up to $600+. A friend suggested I call B&B Trophy. He showed me some metallic plastics that are designed for outdoor use (UV fading protected, and hard coated so definately more durable than soft chrome) If you drag something sharp across it of course it will scratch, but I bounced by keys off it a couple times and it made no noticaable mark. The one I chose was a brushed nickel finish, I think it will look really cool. The second best part is he will laser etch what ever I want on it. The coolest part is it will be $50 or less.
