Has anyone had any experience with any of the after market rear stabilizer kits available to address high speed wobble on dressers (FLH)? There are a few out there and I was curious of anyone's experience with them. Specifically I have seen True-Trak, TWR, Ride-Str8 and Stab-Bo. The first three are all similar in that they add a rear stabilizer linkage while the third simply replaces the stock swing arm bushings with Delrin bushings.

I am aware that there are a number of other factors that can contribute to wobble like tires and suspension but I am specifically interested in anyone who has tried to address the rear alignment with any of these products.

Hmm, how fast you going, I get no wobble at 90 MPH and below, truthfully, I haven't gone faster than that on my FLH..

I do not have any wobble either.  I bet you have laced wheels ?  I have heard of wobbles on laced wheels.  I forget the fix for it.  Probably just preventive maintenance on the spokes.

No... cast wheels. The issue I am referring to is a known problem due to the engine/frame alignment on Harley dressers. The fixes I have heard about all involve a rear stabilizer being added. This helps maintain the frame alignment when in curves at speed.

I have an FLH. Thought that I had a wobble, as a matter of fact I almost lost it a couple of times, until I hit the rear brakes, after that I investigated the problem come to find out it was the road, not the bike, when I left eastbound 696 going to westbound 94 the vibrations increased in the front end until I slowed down. I was going a bit fast. maybe this will help.  Paul B
